With Xing Ren, for Wind-Cold coughing and wheezing.
Gypsum Fibrosum Shi Gao 15-60g Clears Excess Heat from the Lungs.
With Ma Huang, for coughing from Heat Obstructing the Lungs with wheezing, flaring of the nostrils and fever.
With Ma Huang Xing Ren and Gan Cao, for Lung Heat with coughing and asthma.
Cx. Mori Sang Bi Pi 6-18g Drains Heat from the Lungs, stops coughing and calms wheezing.
With Di Gu Pi and Gan Cao, for a cough with thick sputum, fever, irritability and thirst due to Phlegm-Heat Obstructing the Lungs.
With Ting Li Zi, for wheezing from water and thin mucus retained in the Lungs.
Cx. Lycii Di Gu Pi 6-15g Cools the Blood, drains Yin Deficiency Fire and clears and drains Heat in the Lung.

Per. Trichosanthis Gua Lou Pi 6-30g Clears the Lungs, transforms Hot Phlegm, regulates Qi and expands chest.
Rz. Belamcandae She Gan 3-10g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, improves the throat, transforms Phlegm, clears the Lungs and eliminates wheezing.
Sm. Lepidii/Descuraniae Ting Li Zi 3-10g Drains the Lungs, reduces Phlegm and calms wheezing.
Pheretima Di Long 4-15g Clears Heat and calms wheezing.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 3-10g Stops coughing and calms wheezing.
With Ma Huang, for coughing and wheezing due to Excess.
